The coordination alone saved us months. > > — Operations Director, Industrial client > Precise, pragmatic and genuinely technical. They pushed back where it mattered and delivered exactly what we specified. > > — Head of Facilities, Logistics client > Rare to find a partner equally at home with load calculations and code reviews. That range is their real advantage. > > — Project Lead, Corporate client ## Let's build something that lasts. *Start a project* Tell us what you're planning — a structure, a platform, or both. [contact@hmt.lu](mailto:contact@hmt.lu) --- # About HMT Engineering HMT Engineering SARL is a Luxembourg engineering firm that designs structures and builds software under one roof. Founded in 2018 and based in Junglinster, we work for corporate and industrial clients in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. ## The company HMT Engineering SARL is a private limited company (société à responsabilité limitée) registered in Luxembourg under RCS number B229278. Our office is at 10, rue Jean-Pierre Ries, L-6143 Junglinster, Luxembourg. The practice is run by its two co-founders: Mars Hetto, a civil engineer with more than 35 years of structural and industrial experience, and Tom Hetto, a software developer with more than ten years of web, app and game development. Read more about them on [Who we are](https://hmt.lu/who-we-are/). - Legal name: HMT Engineering SARL - Founded: 2018 - Registered: RCS Luxembourg B229278 - Location: Junglinster, Luxembourg - Languages: French, German, English, Luxembourgish ## What we do Civil engineering: structural design, load and stability analysis, feasibility studies and site supervision for industrial, logistics and infrastructure buildings. Software: web platforms, API integrations, dashboards, native and cross-platform mobile apps, and original games and VR experiences — some for clients, some self-published. Around both, we offer independent technical consulting and project management, so a single team can stay accountable from the first feasibility sketch to the final handover. See the full list on [Services](https://hmt.lu/services/) and examples on [Projects](https://hmt.lu/projects/). ## How we work Every engagement starts with a short brief and a conversation about constraints, budget and programme. We then agree a scope and a fixed point of contact. Design, analysis and code are reviewed internally before anything reaches site or production, and we stay involved through delivery rather than handing over drawings or code and walking away. ## Let's build something that lasts. *Start a project* Tell us what you're planning — a structure, a platform, or both. Speed mattered, but so did a structure that would carry heavy racking loads and future mezzanine expansion without rework. ## Our approach We developed a steel-frame concept optimised for span and erection speed, running full load and stability analysis against the intended racking layout. Every connection was detailed for fast on-site assembly, and we supervised erection directly — resolving field questions in hours rather than through slow RFI cycles. ## The outcome The structure was topped out ahead of schedule and passed inspection first time. Holding design and delivery under one roof removed the handover friction that typically stalls projects of this size, and the frame was specified with spare capacity for the client's planned expansion. ## What the client said > One accountable team for the structure and the delivery. The coordination alone saved us months. > > — Operations Director, Industrial client ## Next project [Fleet Operations Platform](https://hmt.lu/projects/) ## Get in touch *Start a project* [All projects](https://hmt.lu/projects/) · [Start a project](mailto:contact@hmt.lu) --- # Services One firm across civil engineering and software. [contact@hmt.lu](mailto:contact@hmt.lu) --- # Who we are A Luxembourg family practice where four decades of civil engineering meet a decade of software and games. Two disciplines, one team — and a single line of accountability from first sketch to handover. ## Our story Founded in 2018 in Luxembourg. Corporate and industrial clients. Two disciplines held to the same standard of rigour. We solve problems that live in the real world and the digital one — and increasingly, in both at once. HMT Engineering was founded by a father and son who kept working across the same problems from opposite ends: one from thirty-five years of civil engineering, the other from a decade of building software and games. Rather than run two firms, we built one — so a structure and the systems that run it can be designed by the same accountable team. ## What you can count on *How we work* ### Collaboration *We work together.* We build with you, not for you. Every engagement starts as a partnership — your team and ours, solving the problem as one. ### Client-centric *We are listening.* We shape the solution around your vision instead of forcing your idea into a template. The brief leads; our methods follow. ### Nearby *We are close at hand.* Based in Luxembourg, in your time zone and your language — we work in French, German, English and Luxembourgish. ## The people behind HMT *The team* ### Mars Hetto *Co-founder · Civil engineering · Visionary* Mars brings a career's worth of civil engineering to every project — the long view that keeps a structure standing and a business sound. He mentors the practice as much as he engineers it. - Dipl.-Ing. in Civil Engineering, RWTH Aachen - 35+ years in civil and structural engineering - Led a 280-engineer organisation for 25 years - Founded ten engineering companies ### Tom Hetto *Co-founder · Developer · Enthusiast* Tom turns ideas into working software. From web platforms to published games, he handles the digital half of the practice — building systems that are as considered and durable as the structures beside them. - M.Sc. in Mechatronics & Information Technology, KIT - 10+ years building applications and games - Web platforms, native apps and interactive media - Focused on turning ideas into reality ## Let's build something that lasts. *Start a project* Tell us what you're planning — a structure, a platform, or both.
